Lawful Surveillance Practices

Our surveillance services are designed to obtain objective evidence through lawful physical observation and documentation. We do not engage in intrusive or unlawful monitoring practices.

Prohibition on Tracking Devices

Spotlight Investigations maintains a strict policy prohibiting the use of:

  • GPS tracking devices

  • Vehicle tracking systems

  • Electronic monitoring or covert tracking technology

 

The use of such devices without statutory authority constitutes a breach of Data Protection and privacy law. While their use may occur elsewhere within the industry, Spotlight Investigations does not deploy these methods under any circumstances.

By relying on trained investigators and compliant surveillance techniques, we ensure that evidence gathered:

  • Minimises privacy intrusion

  • Protects clients from regulatory and evidential risk
